EAP Cogsci Edition - 2015

The 2015 Mind&Brain Prize is awarded to:

Nicholas Humphrey, Darwin College, Cambridge. 

For his fundamental studies of the visual system, for his ground-breaking research on social intelligence, and for his theoretical and empirical investigations of subjective experience, which have provided a new approach to understanding the nature and function of consciousness, thereby forging links between psychology, philosophy and evolutionary biology.

M&BP (Mind&Brain Prize)

  

Frédérique de Vignemont, Institut Jean-Nicod, Paris.

For her studies on the sense of body awareness from a multidisciplinary perspective, such as the sense of bodily ownership, the spatial content of bodily sensations, and the extent to which body representations can be shared between self and others. 

YM&BP (Young Mind&Brain Prize)

 

The 2015 Mind &Brain Prize will be assigned during the EuroAsianPacific Conference on Cognitive Science EAP CogSci 2015 (4th European Conference on Cognitive Science and 10th International Conference on Cognitive Science). The conference will be held in Turin on September 25-27, 2015.

The award ceremony will be held in the Lecture Hall of Cavallerizza Reale (University of Turin, Via Verdi n°9) on September 25, 2015 at 11.10 am.
